Don't ask me. Must have decided to drop 'Toilet' from the branding, save on ink and re-invest money in the Jason and the Argonauts-type CG duck that now graces its TV ads. Actually, that's an insult to Ray Harryhausen's work given he was working with play-dough and wire at the time.

But given that some marketing guru surely pocketed the invetiable shedload of cash for telling the makers of 'Toilet Duck' to rebrand as 'Duck' does make one despair for humankind. Also brings the millions spent on rebranding Network Two back to RTE Two to mind. Good grief.

Crikey, there's hardly anything that doesn't amaze me about Coke anymore. But I have to admit that its doubling up as Toilet Duck (or 'Duck' as it is now officially branded - as if that will increase its sales) is hard to fathom. Makes it wonder what it does to our stomachs.
